Red Dry Table Wine - Agiorgitiko Aretousa
Agiorgitiko, also known as mavro Nemeas, Mavroudi Nemeas or the blood of Hercules, is one of the most widespread grape varieties in Greece. The main area of cultivation is Nemea, where the expertise of viticulture goes back to ancient Greece.
The Agiorgitiko variety is capable of producing different wines, depending upon the environment in which it is cultivated.
The Agiorgitiko, which have been aged in oak barrels for two years, is well known for their high level of fruitiness and mulberry aromas. It has low acidity, spicy taste with notes of plum.
